Our PSHE Curriculum is recognised for demonstrating, sustaining and improving PSHE across the Federation and sharing this good practice across Westminster and beyond.  

Managing Risk

At Robinsfield we have worked hard so that every child is confident, safe and feels able to take appropriate risks.

We have embedded the idea of risk into our curriculum and have made this a central part of our mindfulness and metacognition teaching and learning. As part of our MindUp programme, we have given children a vocabulary to talk about how their brains are making them feel. By doing this, children are given the skills to overcome their feelings and triumph over challenges, both in the classroom and wider world. 

Parental Engagement

We run family workshops on core subjects such as Maths, English and Science as well as more general workshops on Growth Mindset, Sleep, Online Safety, MindUp and Healthy Eating. We have worked in partnership with our School Nurse, Daniel to help deliver relevant workshops that parents want to attend.

We have also found that family workshops where parents learn alongside their children has proven especially effective in bringing parents into school.
