Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education (PSHE)
Why PSHE?
At Robinsfield, every year group is taught Personal, Social, Health and Economic (PSHE) education. These lessons develop children's confidence and give them the skills and knowledge to be safe, happy and successful in education and later life.
As part of PSHE, children will also learn about Relationships Education and Health Education. These lessons are integrated into our wider PSHE curriculum. The aims of these lessons can be seen below:
Aims of Relationships and Health Education at Robinsfield

Develop confidence to talk, listen and think about feelings and relationships

Address concerns and correct misunderstandings and be able to protect themselves and ask for help

To teach pupils the correct vocabulary to describe themselves and their bodies

Develop skills to make and maintain positive relationships
